So would it be safe to assume that they at least have updated stickers on them?!

no, last time it took them 9 full months between updating the manual online and changing the stickers. They changed the manual December 07 we didn't see 35 lb stickers until after the 09/08 redesign. All promotional material said 35 lbs long before that, but the official limit as defined by FMVSS 213 didn't change. I don't expect we'll see 40 lb stickers anytime soon.

Yeah, the first website linked isn't skjp as far as I can tell. But the asterick is fine for me on the official site. Though it's funny that it says 5-35lbs because all 35lb seats now go to 40. Whereas the earlier ones are 33 and that's not noted on the site.

Um, no, they went to 35 before that. I doubt any of the 33 ones are still being sold most places.

My point was ALL the 35 seats now go to 40, so it seems silly to have the asterick and not just put that in the description.

No, actually they don't. There were quite a few seats manufactured prior to September 08 with a rf limit of 35 lbs that will not go to 40 lbs. It's also very likely stores still have these in stock, so ordering online you could easily end up with one of them.

Ah, gotcha. I thought the 35s started 9/08.
