So, do I really have to switch from the long belt path to the short belt path for his Regent, now that DS is usually at 40lbs? (The scale says 40 most days, tho we still get 39lbs occasionally, and we got 41lbs once). I get the install is SOOO tight w/ the LBP, U cannot budge the thing. And since we dont yet have a place to anchor the top tether, I like the seat being immovable. Not that I cant get a fine install w/ the SBP, but I just love the LBP. Can I leave it, please please?!

The regent Must be tethered at 50lbs, so you should get working on that too.

Post advisory, you must switch to short belt path.

really? it HAS to? cause my car company says they do not make any parts for my car there for they can not add tether anchors to it... that would be awful.. (I have tethers in the captians chairs but not third row except the middle where I cant use the seat belt lol)

I forget the date at the moment, but we got it in late Oct. 07.

We have no money to get the anchor yet, but ds will not gain 10lbs anytime soon, not even close!

Umm the only thing I have to add is that the Snug Seat does not have a weight limit for either belt path. It is the same seat only SN and a higher weight limit. At least that is what I remember reading in the manual.
