We were in an accident last Sunday and when I called Learning Curve to ask if our True Fits needed to be replaced, I was told they were ok to use. SO DH and I discussed the situation and decided to err on the side of caution and discontinue their use. I drove to my parents' and picked up the BLVD they have as a spare for the girls and preordered 2 Complete Airs (which btw, my local Toys R Us staff had absolutely no CLUE about. The display was out, stocked with preorder cards but they had no idea what to do with them.)

I also ordered an Avenue which is due to arrive tomorrow to use until the CAs arrive in store. I figured we'd use the CAs as our primary seats and have the BLVD and Avenue as spares.

Fast forward to today... I took stephie1012's advice and called Learning Curve back and reiterated that DH and I had both sustained injuries in the crash and for that reason I was uncomfortable with using the seats. The CSR spoke with his supervisor, came back on the line... and now they're sending us two new TFs! and all we have to do is call when the new ones arrive, place the old ones in the boxes, and LC will have UPS pick up the defective seats. Well, that's GREAT news!

I told DH and asked what we were going to do with 6 seats.. he said, "Simple. Cancel the preorders and we'll use the TFs and have the BLVD and Avenue as spares." Smart game plan.. except I REALLY wanted the CAs. :crying:

If I can sell off the TFs, maybe DH will let me keep the CAs.

Oh, and a big THANKS to stephie for the great advice!

Jonah, I'm pretty sure Graco doesn't have a crash-replacement program. Have you not gotten the replacement check from the insurance company yet?!
