Sure, Graco announced/marketed it first, but then SKJP went back 8 months. Sooo.... who did it first?

ETA- That should be making my KID wii box.

It seems to me that Graco managed to light a fire under SK to actually get the testing going that they'd been talking about forever... so I vote Graco :)

Graco. Sure, SKJP may have actually had seats on the market that, as it turns out, perform well enough at higher limits to get certified. But we didn't know that until last week. For all we know, some Century seat would have passed way back when, if they had bothered to test it. But they didn't (as far as we know), so no child could use it.

A month ago, there was exactly one seat in which a 37 pound child could ride rear-facing in accordance with its certification.

Graco. But you know what? They misread their competition! They have this huge display wall in BRU behind their MR's, and it says the ONLY seat that RF's to 40. In a couple weeks when the Safety 1st Complete Air hits shelves, they'll look stupid for having that on their sign and wish they'd said FIRST seat to 40

This week, they're cool. When the CA comes out, they'll have to take down those signs, otherwise it will be false advertising.

That would depends on whether the sign has a fine print which says "information is correct at time of printing"

It happens all the time for marketing materials.
