Oobr and Olli? I am saying O- BURR and O-lee....but I have no idea if thats right

Olli is like the skateboarding trick, ollie. Rhymes with dolly (like a baby doll).

Oobr is like uber-cool.

I dunno. How do you say chocobo? Because that's what it makes me think of...

Need a new addition to the unofficial FAQs, I suppose.

(my answer is, I don't pronounce those words. Heck, I don't even ever say Britax outloud, so I can continue to mispronounce it an no one in the car seat geek community will be able to laugh at me)

Coccoro has the emphasis on the first syllable: CO-co-ro. Like cocoa, row.

Like the others, I pronounce oobr how it's spelled Olli like the boy's name.

So, how are you "supposed" to pronounce Britax? Is it Bry-tax or Brit-ax?

Bry-tax. When you call that's how they answer the phones.

I always think it wrong though.

Oh, good for me, then, since that's how I was saying it. Must be frustrating to have it sound different in your head, though.

Graco is another one that people mispronounce around here (NS). Is it "gray-co" or "grack-o"?

I know they pronounce it Brytax in NC but I have always just say Britax as in British :bag:

LOL, So I'm not the only one! I've been calling it brit-ax for years. While researching the seat I just bought DD1, I watched the videos on their website and they said Bry-tax. I felt dumb for calling it the wrong thing all these years. Not that anyone noticed though....... I think that I'm the only one in the region that actually cares about car seats. We still have people around here driving with infants on their laps.
