Question What is the cheapest (yet still safe!) 65lb 5-pt harness seat?

Other then the Graco Natuilus.

Oh and one that dosen't have to use a top anchor if possible ? I don't think the truck (its a 07 ford f-150 that was turned into a Saleen truck)

Apex 65 if you have headrests is a lower cost option.

I don't know anything about this seat though so I can't answer about the tether though.

The nautilus Is good as long as you have full size seats in all vehicles it will be used in since it has to be 100% on the seat (the base of it).

The Apex Has a top harness slot height of 17.5 inches were the Nautilus has an 18" top slot (if my measurements are correct, I just measured mine with out the infant pad in, since it can not be used past the first slots)

The Apex 65 ($90 on sale online). It doesn't require a top tether at any weight, but like the PP said, you need support to the level of the child's ears on it. So if you have a truck with a low seatback then the Nautilus is your cheapest option. I saw someone here was mentioning a week or so ago that with a code online they got it for $112. Not sure on the website or code, though, but a search here may bring it up.
