I was at the Car Seat clinic for an hour and 40 minutes getting my carseats checked and reinstalled. I felt good about them going in, but I feel even better about them now thanks to a couple of great techs.
Afterwards I was visiting with one of my cousins and she asked how it went. I explained some of the things I learned here and at the clinic. She mentioned that she had hers installed, but she was leary of the locking belts in an accident. She figured they would lock if she hit the breaks hard, but thought it was wierd. I thought it was.
Sure enough, NONE of her 3 carseats had the belt retractors locked in any way. An easy fix, and I explained it to her/helped her fix them. And I think she might turn her 14mo back around RF after our little talk. :thumbsup:
