Newborn in Radian?

So in looking at the RN online it say the manu. recomends it for one month and older. But it says 5 lbs. Has anyone brought home a newborn in an RN? Pics of newborns in an RN? I'm pretty sure I've seen some before but I don't have time to search. Thanks.

I brought my 3rd home in one. :)

She was about 7 lbs. 1 oz. when she came home.

I found that the infant insert was pushing her head forward a bit, I had to readjust for her super-long torso by pulling the top portion up. (This picture was taken before I did that.) It fit her great from day 1 though!

My 4 month old barely fit in the Radian without the infant padding. I had the harness all the way tight. The splitter plate was hitting the back of the harness adjuster. With it all the way tight, the harness was just tight enough to pass the pinch test.

I had mine adjusted like that when we put her in and I actually had to loosen it some. I don't know if it's the infant padding or just torso differences that matter.

We had Asher in the Radian from pretty early on (a couple days old). I swear I had pictures, but I'm not finding any now. We had trouble adjusting the harness at first, but then I realized that it was because the velcro on the straps (I don't think the newer ones have the velcro tabs?) was catching on the infant insert padding (we have the SuperCool cover, which is snaggy). I got a couple of the 'soft' sides of velcro so that it wouldn't happen, and we had no problems after that. DS was 8lbs 10oz at birth.
