Rear-facing?

She asked if she could get in the car seat. I said, what the heck, why not. (But not the Uptown, jeez it would probably shatter under any more than 41lbs  my EPS foam is already starting to fall off!)

She thinks she's 75lbs but honestly who knows ;) I'll weigh her next time she comes over. I think she'd fit in a Radian height-wise--her head still fits here (for FFing guidelines) but her shoulders are about 2-3" above the slots. I wanted to turn it around and try her but I had a baby in a mei tai and a toddler to chase.

She says it was VERY comfortable, though!

(I know it looks like she could have been flipping a bird but I promise she was flashing a peace sign :ROTFLMAO:)

That's great that a 10 year old was interested in rear facing even though she's much to tall and over the weight limit. A convincing argument about the whole 'but baby's legs are too long' excuse! Great pictures!

Just goes to show if we had the same ears to the top of the shell RFing rule as Sweden some BIG kids would fit in current seats :)

Nice :)
I have a picture around her somewhere of my sister's friend sitting RF in DD2's MA. She is just 90# and 5' 2" at 27 yo. She said it would have been really comfy if her shoulders were just a tiny bit narrower.

LOL she'd fit well into the TF--I couldn't fit in a MA/BV because my hips/shoulders were too wide but the TF fit me VERY comfortably as a chair at 160-170lbs

Ya know, I was looking at my true fit and the maximums, DD2's growth percentiles and it occurred to me she might make it to 10 years in the TF. (This actually occurred to me when I noticed the expiration. Not that I ever keep a seat long enough to expire :p)

Nice! Hey, maybe an expired TrueFit wouldn't need to be destroyed - you could remove the harness and convert it into a kids lounge chair for around the house ;)
