YIKES! Broken BLVD!

The headrest adjuster knobs on my Boulevard are busted! I can't adjust the headrest at all right now, and one of the knobs fell completely off my seat. I called Britax and talked to Heather, she asked me to send photos of the broken knob and said she would call me back.

Am I safe using the seat even though the knobs are broken? I can't decide.

I'd hold off on using it. Britax was really good about my issue, they called back about 20 minutes after I sent pics of my problem, asking me which method I'd like to use for replacement.

The knobs fell off my Wizard a couple times. I realized it was because I was only using one knob to lower/raise the headrest. I just threaded it back on and it was fine. :shrug-shoulders:

This happened to my first BLVD. They sent me a new one. I used the old one until the new one got there. It wasn't moving any, so I was fine with it.

Same here. In fact, when I tell parents of Diplomats/Boulevards how to use their seats for the first time I often tell them to double check now and then that they tighten the knobs back on because if one is loose (and if it's installed all the time and you only use one side it will happen) the headrest won't go up and down and the knob may come off. Just screw it back on and hold onto the other side to keep it nice and tight, then use both knobs to adjust the headrest.

And make sure there's no kid in the seat. That makes it tougher to adjust the headrest.
