Booster (Monterey) slightly tippy in center or solid outboard?

Not trying to be a jerk, but can I ask why? I understand why it would be that way with a harnessed seat. I'm not so clear on why tippiness/leaning (not like falling-over tippiness, just a bit rocky) in a booster is bad.

You aren't being a jerk...I was nakking and couldn't type a proper answer :p

Almost 8 year old child, in a seat offering great side impact protection, I'd chose the seating position that's most comfortable for the child. I wouldn't want to sit in a seat that was tipping back and forth on turns.

Most highback boosters tip in the center of my 03 Focus, too. H hates it when she tips, so even though I insisted on a car with a rear center shoulderbelt when we got the car last year, it makes no difference, since she sits outboard. Now that we have the Indy Plus, tipping is not a problem :p , but I'd really love to be able to keep her in the center (tiny car+no side airbags).

Anyway, that's my way of saying, keep her in the middle if she's not complaining, but don't feel bad moving her outboard if she does complain. :)
