Is this fraying..

So Britax asked for a pic of the fray that is begging on my MA latch strap, I looked at it while trying to get a decent pic and I am not sure if it is really fraying or fuzzing or what?

can you see it? what do you all think?

The strap on my 2 year old roundabout looks the same. When I look at mine closely it's just fuzz from roughing up the belt with the metal tongs that hold the adjuster in place. I haven't been very concerned about it, but if everyone else is I guess I could switch to seatbelt installs.

I would ask your auto dealership also. Several years ago my Evenflo Triumph made a 2" cut through the seat belt at the point where it went through the car seat's belt path. Evenflo, of course, replaced the seay. But I took my car to the Honda dealership. The seat belt had a 15 year warranty so it was replaced without charge. They didn't question me on it or send me back to Evenflo to cover the charges.

That's fuzz.

The "fraying" on my Regent harness is literally the side of the strap being rubbed away, gone, just rubbed right off.
