Welp, I had to do Defensive Driving. (DONT ASK, Im still hacked about it) I got a DVD in the mail and figured it would be fast and easy. It wasnt, it was boring and painful. They did a section on child safety. It was a nightmare. They showed tons of videos and pictures of OLD seats, overhead shields (in *horrible* condition), super old Evenflos and even the shield booster of death as well as advocating after market products. After my test, I updated them on the new Tx state law and urged them to contact Safe Kids to find state certified techs who they can collaborate with on the child safety aspect of their productions. If anyone was wondering, it's a company called Take Home (takehome.com).
Ugh, the animated characters were terribly annoying. I think I'd rather scratch my eyes out than watch that again. Super lame jokes too.
Anyway, if any of you certified techies gets a call from them, (who knows, it could happen) you know who to blame.
