Rio or Hampton?

Ya know, if I were to order an XT...

I love the Rio, but would it get too hot? And would it clash beautifully with my orange CC?

And if I can fit a MA beside by CC, is it pretty safe to assume I can fit a Radian? (At this point, fit is my only concern... install is likely to be a total headache, but I'm gonna give it another go).

I hate the FN. It has to go. In order to do that, I have to replace it with something with good SIP. The only thing else is the XT.

Rio is mesh. I doubt it would get any hotter than Hampton. I lurve the color. And it's actually a rather blue-red, it might not be too bad with carrot cake.

If you can fit an MA you can fit a RN.

The Rio is very cool. We have had not sweat issues in there. My biggest gripe with the seat is that it looks old FAST because of the mesh. ALso, when she spilled her water in there, it left water marks. I keep meaning to take it off to wash it, but I go to a laundromat and am a procrastinator. Orange and red would be sweet together. :) Even with my meshues (mesh issue, its my new word, thats how it came out when I was thinking it) I would totally buy the Rio again, love it!

I can't fit a MA, but can fit a Radian easily.

So is it cheapy crappy mesh? I've had no problems with my FR, but I see the potential for a problem. My GN, on the other hand, is also mesh and holding up great and doesn't seem as flimsy or cheapy as the FN mesh.
I can make it work if I just invest enough blood. I know i can.

I bought the Beige coloured XT because it was plush. I liked the colour of the Rio, but hated the mesh. It didn't look like it would hold up well to me, the display was pretty fuzzy and it's only been out here a few months.
I wanted the Malibu, but this seat will eventually be passed down to little one, and if it comes out with a penis a pink seat might not be appreciated.

Neither ;)

The Nassau is really, really nice. And cool. We live in New Mexico and DS hasn't gotten whiny about being sweaty yet.

After reading how the XT mesh gets pilly and fuzzy and nasty like the FN, I chose Nassau even though I love the color of Rio. Not up for another cheap mesh fabric seat over here

The Nassau is pretty, but I really think it will just get too too hot. If they had a nylon seat, I'd probably go with that. But what is Nassau, velour? He'll bake in that.

We have the Rio and it's in the 3rd row, no problems so far, but it's for Evan the Tiny who doesn't sweat much. lol I'll have to look at it today for how it looks, I know he's spilled things on it. I'm sure it needs washed like the other ones do.

My cousin has the Rio and it's their only seat for their oldest. They use it whenever they go in the car and no problems with the mest (they've had it since Jan.)

We have the Rio and the mesh is getting very fuzzy and uncomfortable, especially on bare legs. DS doesnt complain, but I sat it in (to see how it felt ) and it hurt my legs. We called SK and they are sending us a Nassau.

I love the color and the mesh dries really quickly, but it also gets water rings like no other.

DD has the Malibu (same material as Nassau) and she doesnt sweat at all, even with the comfysoft in it.
