I *have* to buy another COMPACT convertible. Okay, "have" to is a strong word. I do have a marathon that can fill the space.

I have twins and currently have one in a Combi Coccoro. I want another compact seat (I have 3 MA and 1 RN that will work, not expire, by the time they need them to continue ERF... that is not an issue, I'm for ERF!).

Wants: Easy to reach harness adjuster, harness adjuster that is smooth, prefer aligator latch and sylish (fun cover).

I want the seats to match (same brand, not necessarily color/pattern). So, I have to buy another Coccoro - or sell my existing one and buy two new seats. Issue is, I'm not 100% in love with the Coccoro (some installation issues - not technically, but my personal preference) but the seat itself is awesome.

Assuming I can sell the new Coccoro for the $150 I spent and price is not necessarily an issue for the new seats (I'm a deal finder) - what woud you do?

Sorry...why do you have to have a compact seat?

Good question:

Because I'm a shorty and my husband is tall

I like the convenience of not having to listen to my husband balk at the tight fit when he moves the driver's seat back. And, I like the safety feature of being able to see out my passenger window without having to lift my bottom off the seat to stand up over the shell. I'm fortunate that my kiddos are super short and can fit in a compact seat RF until nearly 3 years old (or longer). So, it is fairly easy to justify the expense for another 2 years of driver comfort/safety.

A Roundabout was my first convertible. I absolutely loved it. Though, when we did move to a Marathon, I didn't find that the marathon necessarily took up that much more room...it was just different. So it may solve your problem, but may not solve your DH's problem. (Though, it may solve your DH's problem based on a placebo effect, rather than actual inches saved. ;))

I do still really love the roundabout. The harness adjuster is oh so smooth, install is great.

I think you need a field trip to the baby store to play with seats. :D

the only complaint I've heard about the regular Roundabout is that the kid outgrew it too fast. Since you've got that covered, and you don't like the Coccoro, I'd go the Roundabout route.
