It used to be a large Google banner visible to many usergroups in that location. If you have a subscription, you will not be able to see it later today. Sorry!

No need to apologize.;) Just didn't know if it was new with the forum changes. :) It shows up in this post too and just under the original post. It is links to Elite Carseats and another link to support C-S.org.

It should be fixed now. There has been an advertising banner there for a long time, but it probably was not visible to you. Try logging out to see how many ads guests see!

Thanks, its gone.:D And yes I have done that in the past and thought WOW! It was enough to drive me bonkers.:dizzy: :p

Yet still not nearly as bad as many websites I visit. It would be nice if the software had a built-in sidebar or something for ad placements. Then it doesn't clutter the content areas yet people who are interested can still see the ads.

Yeah, that would be awesome. :) I really like how the ads are placed down the side on CarseatBlog.Com. Neat and out of view of responses, but still visiable to those who would like to see them.

There are modifications to do that with this forum software, but they aren't officially supported and can make upgrading and troubleshooting difficult. I suspect the next major release of the software will have that, but that won't be till 2010 I would guess.

Once you are a Community Member, the ads here are pretty modest. I'm verifying that right now lol.

Wow I'm glad you posted who you were. My first thought was to check the date of the thread, must be 10 years old to show Caviller. Then I thought someone highjacked your identity!

I use that account now only to test features that vary by usergroup. I forgot I was logged in with it when I posted and was too lazy to correct it so I edited it to explain.
