HBB for twins - buying as a gift

Hi - I've gone on and on about my friend's twins and their needing a better booster (they have the Alpha or Cosco version from their old 3 in 1 seats) and they do not fit their girls properly.

It's like talking to a brick wall at this point (it started off really well, they asked me my advice and then did their "own" research and feel, because the seats are government approved everything is a-okay.)

It appears they would be open to receiving them as gifts and won't be too offended (the dad and my DH are like brothers) and will get over it! Besides they always give us fantastic gifts (like a visit from their housecleaner!)... so, it's within my gifting budget for them.

NOW, here is where you come in - I need recommendations for HBB in the $30 to $60 range. I can use the twin discount and find babies r us 15% coupons too as a combo. I also shop at babycatalog and often can double up and get up to 23% off items (but graco is excluded most of the time).

I originally had my mind set on the Graco Turbo High Back Boosters but saw a few others that looked comparable:

Evenflo Big Kids Booster: Evenflo Big Kids Booster

First Year Compass: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3012742"]First Year Compass

Cosco Pronto: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3012742"]Cosco Pronto

Any others?

Big Kid is flimsy, Pronto requires a high seatback behind it, and Compass doesn't fit skinny booster riders very well, plus it has a shorter back.

Kmart has highback Turbos for around $35 this week - both a boy (Lizards in Line) and girly pink cover available.

I had a feeling turbos were the best out of the three I listed. I really like them, and if my DD was big enough/old enough I could see choosing it for her at some point. Although she will be harnessed for a few more years to come :D

Thanks so much for the feedback on those other three and pricing tips.

About to search for other "comparable" seats and ask on those too!

How about the:

Recaro High Back Booster Seat, Vivo™ Lite

Recaro High Back Booster Seat, Vivo

Eddie Bauer Auto Booster Seat

Combi Kobuk High Back Booster

Eddie Bauer is a fancy version of the Cosco Pronto.

Combi Kobuk is short.

Recaro Vivo is very nice. I'd go with it or the Turbo if I had to buy a hbb in that price-range today.

ETA - the difference between Vivo and Vivo Lite is the cover - regular is plush, Lite is meshy.

I've heard that you can get a 15% off at diapers.com plus $10 off if a first time buyer, buying diapers. That makes the vivo something less that $60 if you wanted that seat. I'd go with either the graco turboboosters or vivos.
