Questions about the "Family Man" movie & Carseats

Has anyone noticed the carseats used in the movie "The Family Man". One baby is in a OHS, and the other oldest girl is definitely in a Britax (you can see the logo), but which Britax seat is it. She looks way to tall for it and she had herself buckled in using a seatbelt. It looked like a Boulevard, because of the wings. Does anyone know?

I'm watching that movie right now too.

THe older girl, Annie, is in a Britax Cruiser. It was a BPB only.

I just looked up the seat on the pictorial guide (just to double-check myself).

It is definitely a Britax Cruiser. The Cruiser was manufactured from 1996-2000.

I am replying about the movie, not the diapers swapper site...

Yeah, I noticed the baby was forward-facing AND in an OHS seat. :( In 2000, when the movie was released, I don't think there was as much information out there about rear-facing. I remember putting a 15-month-old forward-facing because he weighed well over 20 pounds and the seat I had only rear-faced to 20 pounds. However, I KNOW there was quite a bit of information out there about 5-point harnesses because I was buying convertible carseats in 1999-2000. While OHS seats were definitely thick on the market, there were also plenty of 5-point-harness carseats. I remember doing minimal research before buying my first convertible (during the spring of 1999?) and reading, even then, that 5-point carseats were safer than OHS.

In fact, I believe it was in 1999 that Graco came out with its first 5-point SnugRide and I believe they were the only "mainstream" infant seat with a 5-point harness. I don't remember the name of the cover on the seat, but I remember that the seat was tan/bisque in color and had a red, green, and tan plaid cover. It might have been called Adirondack...

I guess we can only complain so much about older movies like "The Family Man." I don't think the movie is going to do too much damage. :)
