Question KIA Sorento-Carseat???

So I drive a KIA Sorento and in the process of looking for a Conv. Car Seat. I was wondering if anyone out there drives a Sorento and has a Conv. Car Seat. I know I can go to BRU and ask to try out different Conv. Car Seats but would like to get other mom's opinions. Hubster drives a older KIA Optima but that car is just to get to point A to point B until we can get him a truck sometime next year.
Thanks Ladies!!!:D

I own a 2007 Hyundai Elantra (Hyundai owns Kia) and I can install a Fisher Price Safe Voyage(made by Britax similar shell to the MA) Convertible car seat in this car rear facing easily.

I'm not aware of any known incompatibilities with the Sorento, so you should be able to use most seats in it.

I drive a Kia Sportage, which I know is a bit smaller than the Sorento, but my back seat is not very car seat friendly. I have a marathon and true fit both rfing for toddlers that barely fit front to back. Also three across would never be an option for this car, it barely fits two convertables and there is no spot for anyone to sit in the middle.
Again I know the Sorento is a bigger car but maybe just watch out for the fit front to back for rfing seats

Try carseatdata.org for options. It's not all inclusive. Click on data base. Enter only Kia and Sorento - no year/no carseats. It will give you data people have entered on putting a car seat in your car.

I've never seen one, but it's possible you might with different convertibles-- the Marathon and the True Fit are both wider convertibles. :)

Maybe 3 of the narrowest convertables?? I'd actually be interested to know if anyone every got 3 across in a sportage. right now the two seats have about 7" of room between them when both are rfing-which they always are.

Thanks ladies for the replies!!! I think we are going to go with Sunshine Kids Radian. It is narrower and will be able to seat 3 across in our backseat. I like the Britaxs but I really think this seat will work best for us in the case of leg room for upfront passangers and then for our DS son is who growing like a weed :).

Remember that the Radian takes a LOT of room front to back. If that's an issue for you you might look at another narrower option that can sit more upright or is shorter as well. Just don't want you to be disappointed if it takes up a lot more room front-to-back than you expected. :)
