Dropped my Nautilus

I dropped A's nautilus today. It's been in my trunk ever since I installed the MR's, and when I took it out today, I dropped it from about 2ft above the concrete pavement. It landed on it's base. It has some scratches/dents on the recline foot, otherwise no damage. I assume it's okay to still use, but wanted to ask the experts to make sure.

I don't know the answer to the question, but just saw in your picture that you still have your body support on(nice seat by the way we just got the same one and my husband is out installing it right now). As your daughter is bigger than mine, I'm assuming you don't have the harness straps in the lowest position. I was JUST reading the manual and it says that you must remove the body support unless they are in the lowest position. Just wanted to bring this up in case you weren't aware. It was kind of buried in the manual. I'm assuming if you don't have to remove it someone will correct me! :)

You're correct, you do have to remove it once the child outgrows the lowest harness position. The picture with the money was taken the evening the seat was purchased, when I was just playing around. She is currently using the 3rd slots(shoulders even with the 2nd set) without the insert.

Ahhhh...makes perfect sense. Sorry for pointing out the obvious. I had JUST read it and then saw the pic, so thought I should say something just in case. We installed one in my husband's car last week and missed that we have to take it out(there is just something about that extra padding that makes you want to leave it in for comfort! ;) ) Thanks for confirming I have to remove it. Oh..and cute monkey!

A is a very, very chunky girl, and was very squished with the padding in when I was playing around the next day. She would never be comfortable with it in. And no problem, you were just being helpful.
