old titan vs new titan

DF's DD (Amanda) has outgrown her Titan FF. She's at least 1/2 inch above the top slots. So she got a GN. I brought Amanda home with me today. I was going to put her in the MR and Sofi in the Titan (if she's out grown it FF, must be outgrown RF too, right?). The seat is pretty upright RF, but she fits the same way as Sofi!

We both bought our Titans around the same time. But I suppose it may be possible she has a 30/40 TItan? I know mine is a 35/50. Are the slots any different on the 2??? Or is the install that different between the 2 vehicles? SHe has an Explorer and me a Sienna. I've checked Amanda's seat in Mom's car so I know how it was installed, and know it was outgrown.

Is it possible that your friend's little girl has recently potty trained? Diapers can add a lot of cushion under a tush. Just a thought.

The titan is an absolute ghost seat.
Someone..on here has a pic of the top slots on an older titan being 12..yes TWELVE inches, ruler in pic and all. But the newer ones very clearly have 15 inch top slots. And many of teh tolder ones too...it's...realy weird...
sort of the like the supposedly non-existant 19 inch Apex's...*shrug*

She's not potty trained. And she was in a very full diaper when I put her in my Titan today. I'm going to have to get her Mom's Titan and compare to mine.
