I have a Brand New in box (only taken out to take pics and to check DOM) Evenflo Triumph Comfort Touch. They are selling at our local Toys R Us for $119 + tax. It is the Everwood Grey pattern, very gender neutral. The DOM is Sept 2006. I am asking $100 OBO + shipping if needed. Thought I'd post it here first bofore I list it on ebay.

Where did you purchase it? I would try to return it to another store that carries it.Just act like it was a gift and be open about getting a gift card.I got my $200.00 gift card because the seat I had for my daughter was purchased at bru and she hated it.The seat still looked new even though it was like 1 1/2 years old.I told that to the bru employee I was chatting with but he said it was ok they would still return or exchange it for me.They could see by the floor model my dd was just angry in that seat.

I'd wait to eBay it. For a LONG time. Since K-Mart just cleared all of their Triumps out for $24 (I got one too) there are hundreds on eBay and are selling for peanuts.
If you bought it from K-Mart for $24, you're best holding on to it for awhile or giving it to someone who really needs it. If you actually did buy it from another store adn they really won't take it back, then hold on to it for a few months before eBaying it.

Not to dissapoint you but I think there was a thread on the price of a used triumph.I think $100.00 is kind of high.I'll try to find the thread.

Just me I would not even feel comfortable buying a seat from anyone just because you do not know the history.A nib seat can be damaged.Sorry no offense that's why I suggested returning it as a gift.I am almost positive you can gat away with returning it somewhere do you know of any stores that carry that pattern?

I already tried to return it to toys r us and they said "no receipt, no credit" ! Oh well.... I do have pictures of the seat with the tag still on, so it is new in the box. I decided to go with the britax seats and that is why I am selling this one.

From what I can find it looks like only tru and bru carries that seat.Is that where you purchased it?Just trying to help you out because if that is where you purchased it you can make a really big stink and make the manager look up your purchase in the computer. That is almost anywhere but if you paid cash then I would find the receipt or I would say your sol.

That happened to Dh and I. We purchased a $50 slide from TRU only to find out my mom had alread bought the same one. we didn't have a receipt and they wouldn't take it back. So we threw a "Stink" and they looked it up in their computer, found the purchase and gave us a full refund on our credit card.

If you purchased with your Credit Card this may work for you....;)

Thank you Lovin Waves. I thought maybe I'm the only ***** to really raise a big stink but my ex husbands family had already stole one $150.00 carseat from me and no way were they going to steal another.

We had just bought the slide the DAY BEFORE!! The guy telling us "NO Refund", was the guy that helped me carry it to my van!!! sheesh!!

I think he felt bad, so he called a manager to help us. So I guess we really didn't throw that big of a "stink", but if something looks BRAND NEW and in the original box I don't see the big deal to just let the customer return it.

yeah Id try to through a fit, or try returning it to a BRU instead, or a different TRU. We returned a stroller to a BRU about 6m after we got it and they gave us a full cash refund even though we didnt have the receipt. Probably depends on who is having a bad day and how strict they are trained.

TRU put in the no receipt, no refund policy in the last 6 months. BRU does NOT have this policy. They will do a refund or exchange for the last promotional price if it is new and never used. If you have a BRU near you, try them.

(I still can't figure out why TRU has the policy and BRU doesn't since they are the same company. Maybe because TRU carries toys and people were abusing the policy and returning used and broken items without the receipt? Maybe BRU doesn't have that problem?)

I've never had a problem returning things to BRU without a receipt...even things not in the original packaging. We returned a baby monitor once and had alreayd thrown out the packaging (had it a week), and they gave us a full cash refund. Never tried to return to TRU, we dont' shop there much.

Maybe BRU has a different policy because so many baby items are recieved as gifts and they don't want to scare away their gift registry customers.
