According to the American Academy of Pediatrics:
All infants should ride rear-facing until they have reached at least 1
year of age and weigh at least 20 pounds (9 kg). That means that
if your infant reaches 20 pounds (9kg) before her first birthday, she
should remain rear-facing at least until she turns 1 year old. It is best for
children to ride rear-facing to the highest weight or height allowed by
the manufacturer.

I know, is that not my most harped-about feature of infant seats? I will not rest until they can all be left up <evil laugh> :)

Your link is to the Canadian Diplomat (wow, they have that now? Shame about the 30 inch RF height limit :p)

The Advocate manual has been updated quite a bit from the Boulevard CS manual. Most changes seem minor, but it is worth reading.

Are you sure the EPS is only in the headwings of the Chaperone? It sure looks like there's EPS in other parts of the shell. What is that white stuff on the side of the seat in the pics of the preemie insert (page 53)? It looks like EPS foam is behind/on the sides next to the head rest on page 63, too.

Ok, wow, the Chaperone manual is 73 pages long, and there are all kinds of instructions in it, like how to do different noodle pyramids, even. Wow.

I think that's just white comfort foam, not EPS? Sort of hard to tell from the pictures, though.

I think Danielle might be right. I only glanced through it and one of the pictures looked like headwings only. There's a picture with the cover pulled forward that looks like a white outline all the way around the shell.
