I love the last one with the cars! It reminds me of my little boys! Do any of the other moms on here get bothered when they're little boys play 'crash cars' and think its so much fun? I'm torn between thinking that they're just kids and they're just playing, and thinking 'OMG - they shouldn't play like that!'

Heheh -- I get like that about guns....

But, I've read that such play can be quite therapeutic: by playing like that the kids actually release any anxiety they may have related to such issues

So, for me, I just limit the gun play to hands only & only against imaginary friends -- the real alive friends can be on the same team working together

Oh yes, the gun play, too... It is not allowed in my house, but I'm just a big hippie! I know they do it behind my back sometimes, though!

I've discovered that boys..will turn ANYTHING into a gun. At least my oldest and my nephews. lol (You think that's just a piece of paper? HA! You're wrong...it's a gun...lol). FWIW I don't like guns either. But...yeah. lol

Ever notice that boys play with dolls differently than girls? Like my oldest... one minute he'd be treating the doll...like a doll (that is cuddling it, parenting it)...the next.. the doll is fighting Spiderman, Batman and Megaman. Which is completely hilarious to watch...
