Tech certificate...how long does it take?

I took my course a month ago (in Moncton, NB) & just wondering how long it takes for the certificate to arrive, usually. I'd like to get access to the tech forum here & start letting people locally know that I can help with checking seats, etc, but I don't have any paperwork to prove it. Should I start to think that it may be lost in the mail?

It can depend on the region, and how quickly the instructor submits their class paperwork. The best thing to do would be to contact your instructor, or the body responsible for certification in your region.. (eg. here in BC it's SJA BC/Yukon)

FYI mine took about 5 months... but I think (hope) that is unusual. (I contacted my instructor a few times and she said she had sent it in and would call to check on it again (and again). Not sure what happened.) ETA I am in NS.

We (in BC) got ours within 2 or 3 weeks. But that's because our instructors sent in the papaerwork right away I think.:love: I would call the instructor and find out what's going on.
