yep, it looks like they just pulled the harness over the child, not tightening it but instead holding the end in hand, and snapped a picture.

Watching the video, it looks like the rf infant should have had the headrest on the seat. I only glanced at it, but it looked like the babies head violated the 1" rule.:confused:

There is no 1" rule. You have to put the head rest on when the child reaches 22 lbs or when his reaches the red line at the top of the main part of the seat. The line is right at the top.

So is the baby in the seat ok? I couldn't tell.

You're right the line is right at the top, and the sticker where the line is says to install the upper seat back when the top of the child's head reaches the line. So isn't it interesting that my upper seat back has a sticker that says it must be installed:

When the child weighs more than 22 lbs OR
The top of the child's head is within 1 inch of the top of the restraint OR
The child restraint is forward facing


I like this seat (just got it a few days ago), but I'm really, really, really frustrated with the manual and inconsistent instructions.
