What happened to the Nautilus Elite?

It used to be talked about all the time. Last I recall the seat was supposed to come out in March. Obviously it hasn't come out and no one is talking about it anymore. Did I miss the announcement that it was scrapped? Anyone know?

I think it's just that most people don't need lockoffs and extra comfort foam (and an extra-ugly cover) on the Nautilus, so it doesn't get much press right now. :)

I wouldn't pay $100 more for it either! I thought it was supposed to have adjustable headwings. I remember people talking about it and wanting it. I guess when they saw what it ended up being and the price for it, that ended everything. It looks like it is for sale at only boutique type retailers. I see the seat dieing. Too bad it didn't live up to the hype.

How much does it really cost to add a lock off and a piece of extra comfort foam to a seat? Why don't they just put that on all the Nautilus' to make it a better seat (since they did raise the price across the board from the original $139 to now what... $170?) Or at least on the ones sold at the more expensive stores like BRU and charge an extra $10 for the 'BRU exclusive pattern' like they do with all their other seats? Why make it a whole separate seat and try to charge $100 extra?! That's just silly and it's going to kill the seat.
