I have a question I am looking at buying a pick-up due to the fact of doing work around the house but I also have a lil boy and need to put a car seat in the back. Also want to keep the cost of the truck down. WSould a Dodge 1500 Quad Cab or Super Cab 250 fit a front facing car seat?

May we ask how old your little boy is and how much does he weigh?

(I'll let someone more familiar with pick up trucks address that issues ;) )

Remember that you will want to keep him rear facing, since it is 400-500% safer. If the truck has a console that comes down between the front seats, it works well. It will fit perfect, center back. I have fit them on the sides also, but the center gives you more room.

I see you're moving to Hudson soon. :happy-wavehello: from a local.

I 100% agree about keeping him rear facing.

I grew up one town north of Hudson

As Judi said, a forward facing child restraint is not an appropriate seat for your child. Children need to remain rearfacing to the limits of a convertible seat. This usually happens around three unless the child is very large.

What about a Club Cab for a 2001 Dodge 1500? Any suggestions? You can see my issue on thread "Need to find a seat for a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500"

Sorry, I can't help you with that. Our 2000 quad cab had full size seats and full size doors.
