Is the foam loose in the shell maybe? And the pressure of her head is making it rub?
LOL about the glue. You push it out through the back with pliers or something. It wasn't too hard to push out really. The button went back on fine. THough before I tried, I asked her what if I can't get the buttons back on and she said she'd send me new ones. Apparently she's all for sending replacements....maybe I should have told her about my sticker falling off my base and she'd send me a new base (since they don't replace stickers)That is so weird. So weird! Is she sending you replacement glue?
Wasn't it difficult to get that button off and on? I can't recall, but I thought I tried to put the button back on and it wouldn't work.
Maybe it's a Kasey SS1 thing? We have Kasey and so do you. It didn't squeak anymore today. So maybe you just need to remove the buttons and put them back inYes, both of DD's squeaked when I carried her in them. The EPS foams was still glued down but a little loose. It drove me up the wall but I still loved the seat.

Okay, so THAT did happen with mine! All three of them (the original in the accident, the replacement, and the additional one in Dad's car). Seriously, maybe I should call them....
