Evenflo Tribute-- new print?

Is this a new print on the Tribute?

My neighbor wants a "girly" convertible for her 8-month-old, but can't afford to spend more than $100. I talked to her about the Avenue, but she didn't like it. I talked to her about the Scenera, but she didn't like it. She likes this one.

What do you guys think of this seat? I know very little about it. I wish she liked the Avenue.

It's a 30/40 seat with a short shell. I wouldn't get it or recommend it to anyone for that reason, but other than that I can't think of anything overtly WRONG with it.

I use that seat with the bigger infants in the hospital...

I agree with 3B.. other than the 30/40.. its not horrible.. but i dont install it often..

if she is set on it, and will use it properly.. great...

do i think there are seats that are a better "deal" out there, yes.. but its not our choice ...

It really isn't a horrible seat. She could do a lot better with the Avenue, but with her budget and not liking the Avenue, this should be fine.

Someone said the other day that the new seat (with the new cover and 4 slots) rfes to 35 pounds. I don't know for sure though.

It's what my friend got her 7 month old. It's also brown and pink with flowers. I recommended that one after searching on here.

It's an ok seat provided she knows she's going to have to get a new one sooner rather than later.

I will definitely show it to her! I am not sure what she didn't like about the Avenue.

I told her I loved mine, but she didn't seem to care.

That was me. Yes, that one should go to 35 lbs RFing. It is the same cover I carry.
