One thing that I always worry about is if I put my Ds's carseat backtogether correctly after washing the cover. Its a Britax Marathon. Anyone have any tips how I can be sure it is put together correctly? His seat is in need of washing and I'm going to be doing it very soon. Thanks.

Mine is in pieces right now because I washed the cover 
I just leave the harness straps still in the bottom slots and leave the buckle in place. it's fairly straight forward to get it off and on. Pull the straps all the way out to make getting to the connecter in the back easier. I let that metal connector piece rest over the black plate thing to make sure it does not get twisted. Also, I do not remove the chest clip or the tongues. I just wipe them while still on the harness straps. no chance of putting it back together wrong. When I am done, I triple check the straps and such to make sure there are no twists. Its not as difficult as you might think

I've been known to take pictures of any potential problem areas before I remove a cover/unthread straps, etc. to make sure I get everything back on correctly. In fact, I did this a couple of days ago before I took off my Nautilus cover (didn't end up referring to the pics). The MA is pretty easy, though. :twocents:
