I need to just pick one!!

I am getting down to the wire and just cannot make up my mind!! I NEED to get a new carseat fast b/c my kids are both almost on the cusp of out growing their seats.
I have a 22lb 31" 14 month old currently in a SS1 and a 30lb 36" (13.5" torso) 2 1/2 yo in a older Marathon (the 33lb rf one) they both ride RF and I want this to be so for as long as possible, also the car we have is a kia sportage and doesnt offer much room for a heavily reclined rf seat, unless the driver/front seat passenger enjoy their knees jammed into the dashboard :)

The plan is the older child will get the new seat and the little one will move to the marathon, great except I have no idea which one I want to get!! I lean heavily towards a TF for the tall shell but then Graco has to tempt me with this 40lb rf thing and I just cant decide!! Also I am tempted to see what this TF premier will have to offer that is so different from the original and that just adds more indecission.
I just need to vent this frustration mostly but if anyone wants to throw out a recommendation feel free :)

I tried my 30 pound 3 year old in the Graco My Ride yesterday installed in my car. He was 1 inch from the top. If I had taken out the infant insert, we may have gotten another inch.

In the marathon installed in my car, he has at least 2 inches until he gets to the 1 inch rule.

I would go with a TF or Radian for the tall shell.

I dont have an exact measurement but it is more than an inch, probably 2". I am not as rushed about moving the oldest out of the marathon except that i need it for the younger one who, with a good growth spurt, will outgrow the SS ht-wise.

Then I would choose the True Fit, as it sounds like torso height is more important than overall weight limit.

Yeah, I don't think that extra 5lbs is going to make much difference for your kids. I would go True Fit.

I know this doesn't help your decision, but I saw a picture of the true fit premier at goores.com if that helps. Not sure when it actually comes out though.
