Avenue ?'s

Just want to clarify a couple of things in the manual. First, the crotch buckle positions-the manual says that the outer must not be used RF, only the inner two. Does that mean that the inner two must not be used FF? DD is so skinny, the middle position fits her so much better. Second, it say, at least I think, that the recline foot can be in recline mode for FF if needed for a flush install. Am I right?

I don't know about the recline position, but I would think it would be fine to use the middle crotch position for the buckle. If it doesn't say not to you should be able to do it. Since it specifies a location for RF, it would for FF if it mattered. That is just my opinion and I haven't worked with this seat much.

The problem with the outter position for RF is the interaction of the crotch buckle strap with the latch/seatbelt in a crash. FF it shouldn't matter because the latch/seatbelt arent there :)

I don't have an Avenue manual, and I don't have the Uptown manual nearby. But I know the Scenera manual says you can use the recline foot if you need to to get it flush with the vehicle seatback. So...that sounds like something the Avenue would say as well (same company, similar seats).
