The lady I spoke with said the ARB True Fit WILL be out next month. Around the middle of June.

Asked if the old cover will fit new seats and vica versa...No

Asked about the 40# Rfing Rumors. She "could not comment"

A rep told me last month that it would be out no later than middle of May, I'm not holding my breath until its actually on the shelves now.

Too bad. Before the MR came out (on time ) I was SOLD on getting an ARB TF. IF it ever goes to 40lb (which, I hadn't heard that rumor & I doubt) I might still get one. As it is the TF is officially off my list.

A TF with ARB that went to 40lbs RF would be a dream come true!!

Darn! This seat was really the one I was leaning towards. But I need it now. I'm pretty sure I can't wait. And I've been waiting - April, May, now June.... *sigh*

I think the rumor was started here (this forum, not this thread) when someone asked if the new TF might RF to 40 pounds.

Ok, in other words, there is no rumor.


I've seen the True-Fit ARB listed for presale on some websites. It stated 35/65.

Yeah. That's what I was thinking. Speculation turns into rumor way too easily.

It was just someone wondering/hoping that the reason it's been so delayed is that they were testing it to a higher RF weight limit. Not holding my breath. Though I am curious why the CS rep said she couldn't comment rather than saying "no, it's 35 lbs".

For what it's worth, I e-mailed them last week to ask them if the True Fit with the ARB might RF to 40 pounds to keep up with the competition. Their response: "At this time, the new True Fit with Anti Rebound Bar will only go to 35 lbs."
