RF tether in an '09 sienna?

I have my radian installed behind the driver in a captain's chair in our '09 Sienna. The manual says not to have the seat touching the front seat (which I get, could interfere with the airbag sensors that detect the weight of the passenger and such to help determine airbag inflation speed). So, is it ok to have the rfing tether attached to the leg of that seat with the d-ring? Nothing prohibits it in the manual, but then again car seat manufacturers are not exactly aware of rfing tethering. There really is no where else to attach it, except maybe to the base of where the adult seatbelt is attached to the side.

I think everyone here attaches their RF tether to the seat track of the front seats. A tech recently had a discussion with someone at Toyota and he seemed to indicate that there were no airbag sensors in the seat track (though he avoided the seat leg question). In my 08 Sienna I had to remove a piece of plastic to get the Dring around the seat track.
