So I hit up some garage sales this weekend and at one I found these:
The lady selling them didn't know that carseats expire. I told her about the plastic degrading and she said she'd throw them out. I asked if I could come back later (with my car) and destroy them for her. She said I could.
This one has been sitting in my living room for a few years. It was my younger sisters seat.
So this is what they looked like when I was done.
