Oh no time to flip it!

My son got weighed at the doctors today and surprised me by weighing 32.9lbs!!!! I am so sad I had to flip his carseat, especially since I was hoping he would make it to atleast 2 1/2...but he isn't even 2 yet! Here is a picture of him from the other day. Geesh I am really upset about this...I didn't expect it to hit me like this

aww I know the feeling! You dont maybe have a cosco seat laying around?

Keep an eye on him, he may slim down a few pounds and then you can flip. My DS hit 33lbs at 29m then went back down to 31lbs for about 2 months.

I wish seats went even higher rearfacing.

What a cutie! I can't believe he's not even 2 yet - he looks so much older than my 2 yr old DS, so much more grown up, kwim? You could buy him a cosco or safety 1st seat. Thats the only reason I bought the Intera for my 3 yr old DD - so that she could rear face longer. It is so tall, too, that I'm not at all worried about her growing out of it height wise before she hits the 35 lbs (she's 33 lbs now). I also wish more seats went to higher rear facing limits (Britax!)!
