Sienna says not to use rear facing car seats in the back seat

does anyone here have a Sienna? a friend of mine just told me that the owner's manual says not to use rear facing car seats in the back seat (im thinking she is referring to the 3d row...i dont know yet).

she has 3 kids that could be rear facing but only has 2 rear facing b/c of this limitation.

i dont have this type of car so i have no idea what she is referring to. im kind of shocked though.

Let me get my manual

Says nothing about not being allowed. WHat it does say is not to install a rf seat on the second (or third) row seat IF it interferes with the lock mechanism of the front (or second) seat. In fact, in the section where it states about installing in the middle seat of the third row, they are showing a rf seat. ANd I know for a fact a big britax seat will fit rf in the third row of a sienna with room to spare

I read the whole manual and didn't see anything that said that. I have two rfing seats on the back bench and one in the middle row.

I have an 07 Sienna and cannot find anything like that in my manual. I have had 2 Marathons installed RF in my 3rd row - they fit great and install perfectly.

Yeah I don't see anything like that in the manual. I've had 2 RF seats in the 3rd row before as well.
