they are both narrow seats, I don't think you should have a problem. There is one member here that I know of for sure that has a FF Radian center and a Keyfit outboard in her car.

I know they are both narrow seats but it is going to be a VERY VERY tight fit (Subaru Forester...the notorious car for being hard to fit 3 across). I'd go with the baby trend but the handle has to be down and that would put my knees under my chin in the front seat.

There are three positions for the BabyTrend handle: one not allowed in the car (carry), and two that are (rocking and non-rocking). In the rocking position, the carseat does take more room front to back. But in the non-rocking, all the way down position, the handle doesn't really take any more room. If the seat is in the way of rotating the handle around, you can move the handle before snapping it into the base. That is what I had to do in my brother's car for it to fit behind him. Have you tried it out in your car?

ETA: The BabyTrend does puzzle with a FFing Radian.

I have a KF center and FF Radian in my Ford.

To give you an idea of how much room I have to play - (If the KF is center.) A Nautilus can't fit outboard. No way. The Boulevard just barely fits RF. And the Radian FF by far, fits best.

What year Forester? I tried a RN65 in my 2001 Forester in the center, and couldn't get a good install. I'm getting an XT next week and will try again.

It's an 07 XT. For some reason it does NOT have the subaru 'hump' that is talked about here so much. Buckle stalks are NOT tall either. I'm pretty sure we could get one in the center. But that's what I'm banking on. That is the ONLY way 3 across is going to work for us. I can't get a booster buckled with 3 seats back there. It's impossible.

I have NO local stores that carry a Radian. My only option is to buy one from Wal-Mart.com, have it shipped to the store, and if it doesn't work, take it back and buy a whole new car. LOL!
