Wow. New Britax seat

I posted last week that Britax said they would replace my Decathlon because of the harness not tightening. Well, it was Monday (4/27) that I talked to them and the seat came today with a DOM of ....4/29! Wow! I have not had a chance to play with it yet, but look forward to seeing if it is different than the old one.

Did they send you a DC or MA? What fabric did they send you - did you pick it?

They sent me a DC, was hoping they would offer the MA because of the higher RFing limits now, but oh well, was not going to be picky.

As far as the cover they gave me a choice of Sahara, which I always thought was a tan and tan color scheme but once she said it was green I said no thanks and the other choice was Cappuccino. I was not at all familar with this one but she said it was tan so I went with it. Then that night I looked online to see it. Sorry to anyone who likes brown, I am just not a fan and said YUCK! LOL. I called the next morning and asked I would be allowed to keep my Tiffany cover because I just couldn't picture my baby girl drowning in all that brown. But then I was bad and ordered a Mariposa MA cover that I plan on using instead. Have to admit that wanting the Mariposa is a big reason I was hoping to be offered a Marthon instead, right behind the rfing reason.

I really need to get my 3y/o to bed so I can play with seats without her "helping".

Haha! Does she buckle all the buckles? Mine is always buckling them, often crooked.

She does like buckles!

Now if only I could get her to buckle herself in, she will just do the chest clip so far. At least she is not unbuckling herself though!
