Now $35 plus shipping!

Cosco Alpha Omega Elite, black/grey pattern, convertible for rear or forward facing use, dom: 9/7/2005, expiration 8 yrs, great to keep baby rear-facing a long time as recommended, headrest and straps adjust so easily, rear faces to 35 lbs, forward faces to 40 lbs.

Now mine, but originally owned by my sister-in-law, bought new for my nephew, used for 2 kids in our family (my dn and my ds), no accidents, cover washed once by me (never by sil) using All Free and Clear and hung to dry, quick rinse straps w/plain water and hung to dry.

This seat is one of the ones that got recalled and has been repaired (by me). The recall was for the adjuster strap being able to come loose; Cosco sent a new adjuster strap and plastic piece to be attached to the adjuster strap by running the strap through it to correct the problem.

The only thing "wrong" w/the seat is that we've never used the base, so my sil has misplaced it, and the original box is long gone. You don't need the base for this seat, and it's much easier to install it without it anyways.

The seat is this model, but a different cover (more like a black and grey tweed w/black harness straps):

I'd like to get $35 for the seat plus shipping, and I'll have to check on the shipping for you. Open to negotiation as well.

You're not going to get $50 plus shipping for it. A brand new 50 pound one can be had for $90. Not trying to blast you down, but the price you're asking is way high. You'd be better putting it on CL and selling it for closer to $40.

:yeahthat:

And what exactly does exactly mean? Harness straps are never to be sumerged, just wiped down with a VERY damp cloth if anything.

I wish you luck on CL!

The poster has given full disclosure and has also said she is open to negotiation. It is up to the buyer to ask further questions and determine if they are willing to pay the price and if they are satisfied as to the current condition of the seat.

Usually interest or lack thereof is a pretty good indicator for a seller as to if they're asking too much etc without somebody posting to critique the post.

Okay, Splash, thanks for the heads up! ;) I knew you guys would let me know! LOL

If it doesn't go on CL then, I'll sell it at the next JBF sale in July. I'm not too worried about it. It will go there for $40-50, no problem.

Thanks!

quick rinse straps w/plain water and hung to dry.

Momma,

I didn't soak them in a tub/bowl of water; I literally turned on the faucet and swished them under the running water. Yes, they were wet, but the same as they would have been if I had rubbed them down w/a really wet washcloth. I used my fingers to rub some icky/sticky stuff off one area. I'm never exactly sure what the difference is b/t the straps getting wiped off w/a really wet washcloth vs swishing under running water. I have never soaked any car-seat straps in a bowl of water or used anything on them besides a bit of plain baby soap (and not on this AOE or the Compass infant seat).

hths answer any questions
