P&T Tires?

I am forever airing up the tires on my Phil &Teds!!! Does anyone else have this problem? I am about ready to sell it, I don't want to I love it! But it doesn't push the same without well inflated tires. I don't have a very high quality pump but it gets the job done, do you think that will make a difference (getting a better one)? They are hard to air up in the first place and it takes forever. Any ideas?

I took my P&T tires to a local bike shop and had them put in better tubes and some kind of goop to prevent flats. I had to do the same with my previous jogging stroller as well because I was getting flats all the time. It did seem to help.

I had to change the tube for one wheel of my double jogger when that wheel is always getting flat, having to pump everyday only on that wheel. after that no problems. could be a leak on your P&T tires.

I change the tube myself as it was easy getting the tube for a 16" schwinn wheel. you can get your P&T tires check and change at most bike shops.

I never had that problem... I'd call Regal Lager first and complain... if you are still under warrenty, they should provide new tires/tubes free.

if you aren't under warrenty anymore, just head straight to a good bike shop... they can hook you up with new tubes, which aren't expensive... for 3, you might spend 15-20 bucks.

ETA - oh, and to fill them up easily... take them off the stroller... it's easier without the weight of the stroller pushing on them.

Also, if you are good (I never do this... I popped a tire once on my ABC twin and couldn't hear out of one ear for a good 4hrs after, but my BIL can do it so easily... he used to live on his bike and used it for that, so he's got the speed you put it on and then take it off down pat)... you can fill the tires at the gas station air pump. you can usually fill all 3 (or 4 for sbs doubles) tires in one turn.
