We had a seatcheck yesterday and it was just awful outside, freezing and drizzling, brrrr. It was supposed to go til 3, but for some reason at 2, everyone from the safety fair packed up, us included. We had some people come then of course b/c it was advertised till 3. Someone pulled up and the head guy asked if I would do a special needs seat. I had nothing else to do but stand in the rain waiting for DH so I did it. I opened the trunk to find this massive TP back there. It was really neat to do it b/c I've never installed one, I think I've seen one maybe twice. The little guy was adorable, he was 2.5yo and was riding in a loaner seat from a friend (an Apex) so we got this seat all put in for him so he'd be nice and safe. It was great and I wish I had had another less experienced tech there w/ me so they could've seen it. I've wanted to take the special needs tech class for the past 2 yrs and I just can't afford the $200 + hotel room if it doesn't happen to be held here. Plus it would mean finding someone for the kids etc, it's sad that I can't go b/c of that.
