Radian question

We have a Marathon and a Regent. In the past we had a Scenera as well.

Because we're replacing our MA (due to an accident), I've been considering a True Fit, Radian, or new MA...

Well, I finally found a Target nearby that had a True Fit so I took DD to try it tonight. The thing is, it seems to have the same kind of harness as a Scenera (not sure what it's called, but the harness is all one strap routed under the butt--the Britaxes aren't like that). When DH had the Scenera in his car until she outgrew it, he HATED the harness and could never get it tightened properly. So I guess the True Fit is out.

So my question is, is the harness on the Radian like the MA (two parts) or like the Scenera and True Fit (one part), if that makes sense?

The harness on the Radian is 2 belts, like the Britax seats. However I ahve used a Marathon, a Radian, and Scenera, and now a True Fit as primary seats. I have found the True Fit is easiest to tighten. The harness adjuster can be difficult to reach to loosen. But to tighten, the TF has been the easiest so far.

It's two parts like a Britax except it cannot be removed at the "hips" to wash it off. I just wash mine with a sponge and water and the cover does come off.

Hmm.... I wonder if the floor model was not working properly then??

Granted, I only installed mine Wednesday night. SO I've used it for 2 days. But we are in and out of the car alot during the day. I also tend to just pull 1 side, put her arm in, then pull the extra back to the other side and put her other arm in. Then buckle. THough I have loosened and tightened a few times.

Radians manufactured in or after Septermber 2008 have a removable harness. It takes a screwdriver, but it is removable.
