I don't know what the recommendations are in jeeps, but in his new country music video, "Watching You", singer Rodney Atkins is driving along in his jeep with what looks like a 4-5 year little boy (supposed to be his son in the video) strapped in a harnessed safety seat in the front passenger seat of the jeep. My first thought was that it's great to see some exposure for extended harnessing. Then I thought about the child being up in the front seat...?? I'm not sure if it's similar to many pickup trucks, where it's reasonably safe as long as there's no passenger side airbag, but I thought I'd mention it here for FYI and discussion purposes...
