These carseats look really old & expired????

These are on my Local Craigslists for $5!!! :eek: What are they? One of them looks to be a Century?

The one on the left is an Evenflo Horizon and the one on the right is the Century 1000STE. The youngest the Horizon can be is about 5 years, I think. My cousin is 8 and had one, but hers was not as cushy. The Century must be older. I think that fabric is from the late '90's?

Ok, after looking again, I think the Horizon is expired. It as the one piece chest clip and I don't think it is really cushy. I think the cover is slipping.

OMGsh!!!!! You have some good ones!! Are you trying to outdo my local carseat ads LOL!!! :p Ok, I thought my $5 carseat was good, by BOY OH BOY did you beat me with the $3 carseat!! LOL That listing has got to be a joke. Where in the world do you live????

We should have a competition of who can find the worst carseat on their Craigslist! Starting now, but Patriot is definitely winning hands down!! LOL :D

OMG I *owned* that FP seat with the T-shield!! :eek: We got it at my baby shower for my first baby back in 1993, and used it all the way up until it finally fell apart about TWO YEARS AGO!!! :eek:

Aren't I glad I know so much more about child restraint safety now?!

LOL!! I live just outside of Washington, D.C. The Washington metro is area is supposedly the third most expensive metro area in the country. We have some of the wealthiest people in the nation. YET, we still have carseats like these above ones floating around. This is SCARY!!!!! :eek:
