True Fit padding

We just bought our true fits and I'm a bit annoyed with the padding. I never feel like i have the harness going through the correct slots of the padding.. and it has to be routed through 2 layers of the stuff. Can I remove the top layer? MY DDs are 7 mths and 19 mths. Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure. Have you read the manual? It should tell you when you should use the padding and when you shouldn't. I don't think you have to use it, but I could be wrong.

Do you mean the extra infant padding? If so, you definitely don't need it for your older child. Your younger one will need it if his/her shoulders are not above the first slot without the padding.

If you are talking about the infant padding, then it must come out by the time the child is 22lbs, and is optional until then unless the baby's shoulders are below the bottom harness slots without it.
