Yeah for DH

I meant to post this last week and forgot. We took an 8-9 hour drive to Florida Easter weekend. We left around 4:30 pm and figured the kids would fall asleep a few hours into the trip as they did. But the way home, I wanted to get some sleep before driving so we left at 2:00am. DH was convinced once DD2 woke up around 7 am and we still had 4-5 hours left of driving that she would be "difficult". We were trying to come up with things to amuse her if this did come up. We brought some of her movies like Elmo for the DVD player, not just dd1's movies. We brought extra snacks and books. DH was convinced if none of this worked that she would need to be FF so she could stretch her legs and look out the front - I argued with him, but after getting nowhere, i figured it wasn't worth discussing unless he brought it up again on the way home. Both DDs did great in the car and we didn't touch her seat, it stayed RF. When we got home, DH said " you were right, she doesn't know the difference and would not have been as safe." I was so happy it ended that discussion. She is going up and down b/t 31 and 32lbs right now and one of my seats is a 33lb so she will be FF in one car soon but I am glad we have made it this long and hopefully a few more months left:)
