I finally got my friend convinced that she needs to have her sons seat tethered. He really should be rf (17 months 28#) but shes not budging on that at all :(. I showed her Joel's video and Kyle's video and convinced her that she needs to at least use the latch and tether if she was going to ff. She told me that she latched it in last night but that she did't get it top tethered because she couldn't find where it was supposed to go. Anybody know? If anyone has pics that would be extremely helpful.

Using the lower anchors properly is no more or less safe than using the seatbelt properly. But using the top tether does add a measure of safety to either install.

The tether anchor is located on the floor near the seat. The Tether Anchors are triangular cargo tie downs nearest to the seat, not the ones at the liftgate.
