Hi,
I'm new here, but interested in the Onyx. I currently have the Sahara for my DD's Regent and just ordered a new Regent in the Madison, but looking for two more extra cover's for the seats. (I have a DS in the Marathon and expecting another girl in July). Is the Onyx softer than the Sahara? My DD says her's isn't soft and wondering if I should get one custom made or not. Also, what are you asking? I have an EBAY ID at 100% and I'm also on Gymbofriends.com..

Thanks!
Megan

The onxy is the same fabric as the Saraha :(

And custom made covers are a HUGE no-no.

I have an extra Saraha if you are interested.

Really? How come? Is it the fit?

Is the Huntington a softer material? Other than the Madison, Sahara, Onyx and Huntington, I don't think they come in other prints..

Megreg- custom covers void your warranty (specified in warranty info on either the front or back of manual). This means that if your seat fails for no reason and harms yoru child you have no recourse. They also alter the way the harness is routed and fits the child, they are not treated with flame retardant (And YES that can give you a few extra seconds to get a child out- take a look at how approved covers hold up- http://car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=51032&highlight=flame+retardent ). All in all if it isn't made by the manufacturer specifically for that seat it shouldn't be added to it. Hope that helps.
